TechQuest FAQs

Welcome to the TechQuest Frequently Asked Questions page. If you have looked through this page, and still cannot find an answer to a question you have - please contact us at techquest@hyland.com.

Registration

There could be a variety of reasons that you’re unable to login. Such as:

  • Need to create a Profile? Please apply here.
    • This is not an instantaneous approval. Replying to two confirmation emails is part of the approval process. Applications are approved within 48 hours.
  • Need to reset your Password? Please click here.

You may submit session change requests up to a week prior to the start of the conference to techquest@hyland.com

Cancellations received by midnight, 7 days before the start of the conference will receive a refund. Substitutions may be made at any time by sending an e-mail to techquest@hyland.com.

Credit Cards and Check are both accepted. Credit Cards are charged immediately. By selecting Check an invoice will be generated.

Our Accounting Department will email an invoice within a week. Any questions regarding an invoice should be directed to accountsreceivable@hyland.com

Classes

The colored dots represent the technical level of the courses. They range from Beginner to Expert.

  • Beginner - Appropriate for someone who has only attended System Administration
  • Intermediate - Appropriate for someone who has attended System Administration plus another course in the topic area
  • Expert - Appropriate for someone who has attended System Administration, a course in the topic area, and either multiple years with the topic or multiple conference sessions

Courses for TechQuest are geared towards experienced Hyland Professionals who want to continue their professional development and prepare themselves to support the latest version of Hyland products. We recommend you have already attended System Administration/Introduction to Install or have the equivalent level of knowledge.

The post conference material is typically sent within two weeks following the conclusion of the conference.

Contact the hotel directly and mention you are attending a Hyland Software training class to receive the negotiated rate.

Absolutely. There is plenty of parking located outside the Training Center entrance. The only designated parking spots are Accessible Parking and they are clearly marked. You are welcome to take any other open space.

About TechQuest

Yes, breakfast and lunch are provided to all attendees the entire conference

Dinner is provided during the two evening events offered Tuesday and Wednesday directly following the conference

We provide a buffet style lunch Sunday through Friday and the meat is separated from the rest of the food. We also have a salad each day.

Casual! We want our attendees to be comfortable. Jeans, shorts, tennis shoes, flip-flops are all acceptable. We do recommend layers due to temperatures fluctuating.

Yes. Upon arriving, visit the Registration desk to sign up for classes. We strongly recommend registrations are submitted prior to TechQuest to ensure the best experience for you as an attendee.

TechQuest is in our state of the art Training Center found in Building 3 - 28105 Clemens Road on the Hyland Westlake campus. Follow the signs to the Training Center entrance.

TechQuest runs Sunday – Friday from 9am-5pm EST. We will have two evening events that run Tuesday and Wednesday from 5pm-8:30pm EST.

Sure! We have machines in most classrooms and they are available for your use during breaks and lunches.

You do not need your laptop during class at TechQuest. We have machines available for all attendees.

Yes. Please stop by the Registration desk to check the seat availability.

Absolutely! Reach out to your Account Manager/Support Team before arriving at TechQuest and have them join you for lunch. If you forget to reach out, no problem! Stop by the Registration desk and we will reach out to them for you during the week.

Recertification

Visit our Recertification page to learn more about all of the certification that you can be recertified at TechQuest for.

We do not offer certification classes during TechQuest. Please visit the Customer or Partner Certification pages to learn more about how to obtain a Hyland Certification.

Your certifications will be updated no later than two weeks following the conclusion of the conference. If your transcript has not been updated by this time, please contact training@hyland.com
